On Blueberry Hill

We've been berry picking every day recently. Lucy and I seem to have permanent berry stains decorating our feet this week. She likes to compare hers to mine when we return home to snuggle after all our hard work. Matt came with us on Sunday for an early morning berry excursion. This was great because we came home with twice the amount of berries. We have to keep up with our blueberry-eating habits! Lucy, well, she took off some clothes to be...ahem...a little more comfortable. She decided a shirt and boots were all that were necessary to get the job done.

 

Lucy came over to tell me she was tired in this photo. You can tell what a happy girl she is here - in good spirits even though she was exhausted from not sleeping well. She feel asleep for an early nap upon getting home. I was happy to have filled my container just in time!

Pasta Pasta!

One feels a certain sense of accomplishment when fresh pasta is made successfully with the help of a 2-year-old! Lucy helped me make the dough as well. She kneaded her own little ball of dough which she kept patting into a flat disk and calling it "Canute's bed"... I love the connections this girl makes.
