This has been a very exciting and busy week. We celebrated a lot: Matt's first Father's Day and me getting the OK from the doctor to dispose of my crutches and aircast!
This meant we finally could go for walks as a family together so we started that very night of course. Canute was beyond excited!
Lucy always sees many new and curious things when she is outside with us. Below is her very first moth sighting!
She spends quite a bit of time inspecting her feet these days. If she is not looking all around her to see what is going on, she can be found staring intently at her squirming feet.
Lucy also reaches for her toys now when she is on her activity mat and in her bouncy seat. It is pretty fun to watch her grasp and play with everything. She is so interested in all the colors and shapes that dangle in front of or above her. This morning I watched her suck her thumb for the first time and in the same fashion as I did when I was little - so cute. All in all, it was a fantastic week and I think I have been smiling non-stop every day because I can walk again!
